Steelhounds Win Another One, 7-2
The Brighton Steelhounds beat the Estación Juanita Red Wings, 7-2. Brighton pitcher and Mexico City, Mexico, native Arturo Macias led the way. Carlos Fernandez earned the save for Brighton, his 1st of the year. Brighton is now 88-46, while Estación Juanita is 49-84.

Steve Coffin had a big bases-clearing triple for the Steelhounds in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Brighton leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Max Palenzuela and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 7th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Steelhounds ahead, 7-1.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Coffin told the Brighton Daily. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
