The Mojave Rattlers faced a tenacious opponent in River Falls pitcher Angel Maldonado, but still scratched out a win at Rattlers Field by a final score of 3-2 in 13 innings. Maldonado went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Ron Burns, 2-3, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Mojave sits in 4th place in the TML LA East Division at 60-73.

The decisive blow was delivered by Humberto Perdomo in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Doug Minkler to win the game for Mojave. The home crowd went nuts.

Perdomo said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
