The Toronto Blue Jays pounded the Media Luna Marlins, 14-1, at Exhibition Stadium. Toronto designated hitter Jose Alfaro had a solid game. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 7 for the Blue Jays. Toronto, now 119-15, holds down first place in the TML LA East Division.

With Toronto leading 7-0 in the bottom of the second, Alfaro came up to bat against Media Luna pitcher Danny Aguilar. Alfaro hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Blue Jays on top, 11-0.

"That game had disaster written all over it," said Media Luna skipper Victor Garro. "I could feel it."
