Thunderbirds Rally to Eke Out Win
The Surrey Thunderbirds wiggled past the Tulsa Titans, 8-7, in 12 innings at Titans Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Surrey first baseman Angel Sanabria. Surrey is now 83-53, while Tulsa is 72-66.

Surrey used a timely hit from Mike Westbrook to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Thunderbirds ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

In postgame comments, Westbrook said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
