Starting pitcher John Miller did his part in helping the River Falls Falcons thwart the Mojave Rattlers, 5-0. With the win, River Falls pushed its record to 79-57.

The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Miller. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Falcons. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Rattlers, striking out 10 and scattering 8 hits over 8.1 innings. Miller is now 11-4 on the season.

"John definitely kept his composure, kept making pitches," said River Falls manager Jian-guo Yang.
