The Saint John Alpines stopped the Tulsa Titans, 10-5, behind an impressive performance from Jose Castillo. The 24-year old first baseman made life miserable for Tulsa pitching. He went 1-3 with a triple and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Edwin Mares picked up the win in relief. Jesse Leon took the loss for Tulsa. The Alpines are now 85-57, while the Titans fall to 75-69.

With Saint John leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Castillo hit a slider from Jesse Leon for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Alpines ahead, 4-0.

"We want to make a habit of winning," Castillo said after the game.
