In a seemingly effortless performance, Corey Green of the Cuautitlan Izcalli Atlantics shot down the Bloomington Hoosiers, 6-0, on 7 hits.

"Corey was just locating so well and using his pitches," Cuautitlan Izcalli manager Javier Medina said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Green recorded 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Bloomington manager Matthew Buchanan said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

In 15 starts this season, Green has chalked up a 9-3 record and a 2.12 ERA.
