The Victoria Cougars clipped the Estación Juanita Red Wings, 11-5, in 11 innings at Red Wings Grove. The standout performance belonged to Victoria pitcher and Taneytown, Maryland, native Chaz Browning. With the win, the Cougars have a record of 84-60.

Victoria used the timely hitting of Esteban Soto to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Cougars on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Chaz's as tough as he is talented," said Victoria manager Tony Varela.
