The Springfield Sentries beat the Rancho Cucamonga, 7-5, with major props going to right fielder Greg Johnson. On the day, Johnson drew 4 walks in 5 trips to the plate. He scored 2 times for the Sentries. The Sentries improved their record to 61-84 by beating Rancho.
Johnson had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Sentries went on to win.
