Navarro Blasts 3 Home Runs in 9-3 Marlins Win
Media Luna first baseman Vincent Navarro helped his team beat the Victory Lakes Crawfish, 9-3. Navarro, who is tied for 7th in the TLA in bases on balls with 113, went 3 for 4 for the Marlins. The win went to Rod Arroyo in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Alex Romero took the loss. The Marlins, at 67-81, inhabit third place in the TML LA East Division.

Media Luna won the game in part because of Phil Frye. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Marlins ahead, 3-0. For the game, Frye had 1 double and 2 home runs in 4 at-bats.

"I put some good swings on the ball tonight," said Navarro.
