Alan Lewis did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Victoria Cougars from being beaten, 14-9, to the Tulsa Titans at Titans Park. Lewis was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. The Titans upped their record to 78-72.

Federico Elizondo had a big grand slam home run for the Titans in the bottom of the third inning. With Tulsa trailing 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Ron Krause and swatted a home run to left. It was his 16th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Titans ahead, 6-3.

"No shortage of offense this time around," said Elizondo.
