|
Aiken starter Jeong Shin kept the Cuautitlan Izcalli offense from doing much damage. The left-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Thoroughbreds to a 7-1 win. The Thoroughbreds, now 115-44, have won 12 in a row.
Shin imposed his will on the Atlantics, scattering 7 hits over 9 innings while striking out 13. The left-hander upped his season record to 12-1.
"Jeong was electric," said Aiken manager David Flecha.
