Hoosiers Earn 2-1 Home Win
The Bloomington Hoosiers and Aiken Thoroughbreds played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

Bloomington took on Aiken in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Orlando Villavicencio, in particular, was fantastic. The Bloomington left-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-1. Antonio Tejera earned the save for Bloomington, his 6th.

The Hoosiers got a big at-bat from center fielder Danny Benavides. For the game, Benavides went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 24th home run of the season gave Bloomington a 2-1 lead.

"All in all, I thought Orlando pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Bloomington manager Matthew Buchanan.

The win puts Bloomington at 54-107.
