Cairo designated hitter Ignacio Montejano had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Montejano was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice, even as Buffalo beat the Pharaohs, 6-4. The 4th-place Bison are 68-71.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jonathan Schimmel in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Sam Lademan to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was rockin'," Schimmel said.
