Jason Sanders was superb against Buffalo. The right-hander, who finished 4th in the RCL in ERA with 2.23 in 2058, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Sasquatch victory. The score was 8-3. In 6 innings, Sanders surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Seattle goes to 76-63, while the Bison fall to 74-65.
Charles McNeil had a big 3-run home run for the Sasquatch in the top of the eighth inning. With Seattle leading 5-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a curveball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Brendon Wager and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Sasquatch on top, 8-2.
"Getting the win feels nice," said McNeil. "More importantly, I had a good game."
