Barney Prest helped his team muscle past the Jefferson Indians, 15-6. In the game, the Frontance first baseman belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. John Mallandain earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 3-1.
