Jazz Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire Sunday, October 19th , 2064 The West Island Jazz and Montreal Mounties hooked up in a classic Round 1 that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's West Island heading off to the Round 2, after a 4-3 win at Mount Royal Grounds tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Mount Royal Grounds, whether they were supporters of West Island or Montreal, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Henry Pitcher played the hero for the Jazz in the series, as his MVP performance included a .310 batting average, with a .375 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The West Island Jazz will play against the Eureka Hornets in the next round. Eureka won their series against the Chicago Eclipse 4 games to 2.
