Bumblebees Pitching Ravaged by Adkinson Monday, September 29th , 2064 6 hits in 7 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today, James Adkinson of the Amarillo Armadillos had a sensational game against Pasadena at Armadillos Park. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 10-9 shellacking of the Bumblebees. In the postgame press conference, he joked that he was going to take the rest of the week off. "I did all my hitting in one day -- what else do they want from me?" he said with a laugh. James Adkinson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 13th.
