Beetlecats Oren Sizzles with Cycle Friday, June 9th , 2062 Pete Oren had a special day at The Coffee Grinder, contributing to the 12-4 Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats win and hitting for the cycle along the way. The 23-year-old left fielder went 4-for-4, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Silicon Valley Hackers. "Boy, Pete had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" Buzzard's Bay manager Dorian Payne said later. "You don't see that very often." For the day, Oren finished with 2 RBI and 4 runs scored to go with his 4 hits. Pete Oren singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Alex Caballero in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
