Ainsworth Bashes 5 Base Hits Tuesday, July 10th , 2063 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Randy Ainsworth is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Adirondack Lumberjacks at Paul Bunyan Field. The monster effort from the 22-year-old center fielder helped the Windsor Royals get the win, 11-0. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Lumberjacks manager Daniel Brenton. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Randy Ainsworth hit a two-run home run off Chris Courtney in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Chris Courtney in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Wynkoop in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
