5-Hit Blitz by Johnson Saturday, June 7th , 2064 The Clearwater Seagulls stopped the Murraysville Peacocks by a score of 24-3 at Chapman Field, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Zach Johnson. The 22-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Johnson said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Johnson did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Peacocks. "Not much that I can say," offered Murraysville manager Joseph Kelley. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Zach Johnson hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
