Delmonico 5-for-5 Against Buzzard's Bay Monday, August 11th , 2064 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Mike Delmonico of the Moose Jaw Canucks. The Moose Jaw shortstop gave it his all and dominated Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats pitching at Ashton Gate, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Beetlecats going home the winner, 8-7. "There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Delmonico said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead." Mike Delmonico hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
