Bad News for Marysville, Gutierrez Injured Tuesday, September 23rd , 2064 The season is finished for Willie Gutierrez of the Marysville Monarchs. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Monarchs starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Roaring River Steelheads. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. |
