TML AA Jim Leyland Division Won: Seagulls on Top Monday, October 6th , 2064 The Clearwater Seagulls are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a League Championship Series parade in the city of Clearwater. They've taken the big first step, winning the TML AA Jim Leyland Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said starting pitcher Chris Correa. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 97-62 and it is the 5th time they've won the division title. Team manager Ayub Ndadaye said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
