Bishops Won't Get Playoff Berth Monday, October 6th , 2064 The playoff picture is continuing to come into focus in DOUBLE A and this year, the postseason won't include the Evanston Bishops. The team today was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Evanston last appeared in the postseason in 2061. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 37 times in their 53-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bishops have only made the playoffs once. Evanston last won the League Championship Series in 2041. |
