Roaring River's Campbell to Miss 11 Months Tuesday, October 7th , 2064 Rusty Campbell of the Roaring River Steelheads was injured in today's game against Moose Jaw and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum, and he is expected to be out for up to 11 months. It happened while Campbell was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this season, Campbell has picked up no saves in 16 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark with a 5.40 ERA and fanned 16 batters in 20 innings. |
