Stuart Belts 3 HR Against Madison Wednesday, October 8th , 2064 Dwayne Stuart went yard three times in a Carson City Mustang victory over the Madison Beehive at The Hive. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Carson City left fielder went 5-for-6 against Madison with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Mustang to the 13-3 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Dwayne Stuart flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Vance in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off David Torres in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Kody Taylor in the 9th. So far this season, Stuart is hitting .361 with 18 home runs. |
