Salazar Tames Cucamonga 3-0, 15 Ks Wednesday, April 30th , 2064 Aiken Thoroughbreds starter Jose Salazar brought his best stuff to Steelers Park against the Rancho Cucamonga, striking out 15 batters in his club's 3-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 21-year-old Salazar gave up 1 hit in his 8 innings of work and issued 4 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my sinker was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
