Saint John's Medina to Miss 14 Months Saturday, May 31st , 2064 Saint John starting pitcher Frank Medina suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Steelhounds. According to club doctors Medina has a damaged elbow ligament. Although Medina has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. In 10 starts this season, Medina has rung up a 3-2 record and a 3.21 ERA. |
