Brighton-Kingston Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, June 3rd , 2064 If there wasn't a history between Ricky Contreras of Brighton and Victor de Leon of Kingston, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Contreras said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Contreras has a .399 average and a .569 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 57 hits, 11 home runs and driven in 36 runs. Looking at his season stats, de Leon has won 0 and lost 5, collecting 69 strikeouts and 49 walks in 59 innings with a 5.49 ERA. |
