Santiago Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, June 7th , 2064 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Royal Oak's Carlos Santiago made it happen against the Werewolves. Everything came together at the plate for the 17-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Leprechauns triumph, 17-10, at Werewolves Grounds. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Santiago said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Carlos Santiago singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Kuniyasu Inouye in the 9th.
