Waugh Boosts Hit Streak to 30 Games Saturday, July 26th , 2064 Ben Waugh's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in his team's 15-3 triumph over the Rancho Cucamonga at Exhibition Stadium. The 22-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 30 consecutive games for the Blue Jays. Ben Waugh hit an RBI double in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Batting .462 to date, Waugh has 36 home runs and 147 RBIs. |
