Oak Park's Valverde Top RLA Batter in August Monday, September 1st , 2064 When Danny Valverde stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the RCL LA Batter of the Month award. The young Oak Park center fielder posted a .471 batting average with 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 29 runs. Valverde also worked pitchers for 15 walks to post a .537 on-base percentage. Valverde is hitting .414 in 2064 with 63 RBIs and 7 home runs. |
