Garcia Gone for Season in Aiken Wednesday, September 10th , 2064 Ruben Garcia is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Aiken organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 6-7 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Rancho Cucamonga. To this point in the season Garcia has 3 wins and 6 losses and a 6.86 ERA. |
