Steelhounds Macias September's #1 Pitcher Wednesday, October 1st , 2064 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Arturo Macias of the Brighton Steelhounds. He captured the RCL LA Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in September. Macias started 6 games, threw 40.2 innings, yielded 41 hits and logged a 5-0 record. He put down 26 batters on strikes, walked 19 and compiled a 2.21 ERA. Opposing teams batted .273 against him. On his stats sheet this season, Macias shows a 14-3 record, 20 starts, 147.1 innings, 114 strikeouts and a 3.79 ERA. |
