Ruckus Reaps 4-Game Suspensions Wednesday, October 1st , 2064 The fans at Atlantics Grove saw it all yesterday in the Werewolves-Atlantics game -- pushes, shoves, scuffles, a few tackles, a few swings, a few feeble punches -- and a baseball game, too. When the ruckus was over, only two players were sent to the showers by the umpire crew. Ft. Worth's Ruben Rivera and Cuautitlan Izcalli's Luis Contreras were ejected from the game. Today the two players were suspended 4 games by the league commissioner. Currently Rivera is hitting .336 and has collected 21 home runs, 81 RBIs and scored 108 times, while playing in 133 games. |
