League Gives Gallegos 4-Game Suspension
Saturday, October 4th , 2064
The Victoria Cougars were officially notified that center fielder Juan Gallegos had been suspended for an altercation that occurred in yesterday's game with the Alpines at Alpines Field. After arguing a called third strike by the plate umpire, an enraged Gallegos threw his batting helmet toward home after he reached the dugout.

That action got him ejected and a 4-game suspension.

"I threw the helmet and I shouldn't have. But I don't deserve the suspension. It was a bad call that started this whole mess."

Thus far this season in 140 games, Gallegos is batting .279 with 21 home runs, 107 RBIs and 112 runs scored. He has 140 hits in 501 at-bats.
