Rams Mow Down Drillers, 9-3
The rain did not keep Frisco and Beaumont from finishing their game.

With right fielder Willie Jiminez leading the charge, the Frisco Rams defeated the Beaumont Drillers, 9-3, at Drillers Stadium. Jiminez was 3-3 with 3 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. With the loss, Beaumont is 3-5.

Frisco used the hitting of Brett McDaniel to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rams on top, 4-0. For the game, McDaniel had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Their at-bats were really impressive against us," said losing manager Takuzo Kaneshiro.
