The Roaring River Steelheads got a superb performance from pitcher Davian Viteka, but the Boston Whitecaps still won the game, 4-3. Viteka threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The winning pitcher was Victor Cortez. He tossed 113 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. Stuart Reece earned the save for Boston, his 1st.
