Rams Rally Late to Clip Pacifica

Frisco pitcher David Doss had a large part in his team beating the Pacifica Shamrocks, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Frisco reliever David Doss picked up the win, while Santos Machain took the loss for Pacifica. Frisco, at 24-12, occupies second place in the RCL AA Lou Piniella League.
Frisco went up, 4-3, on Nick Lambrecht's 8th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Lambrecht hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Pacifica pitcher Santos Machain shaking his head.
In postgame remarks, Lambrecht hailed his team's "mettle."
