Coleman, Rams Too Much for Monarchs
The home team was supported by a raucous crowd at Outlander Park.

The timely hitting of Tony Coleman helped the Frisco Rams down the Marysville Monarchs, 7-4. Coleman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rams. The 5th-place Monarchs have dropped 5 straight games.

Frisco second baseman Brenden Rose contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 44th hit of the season and put the Rams ahead, 5-3.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Coleman said.
