The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters knocked off the Silicon Valley Hackers, 5-4, in TML AA action at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Niagara Falls pitcher and Gilmore, Ohio, native Jason Murphy had an outstanding performance. The Pipe Fitters improved their record to 26-18 by beating Silicon Valley.

Ceasario Buozzi went 1-4 against the Hackers. With the game tied in the top of the 11th inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Niagara Falls in front, 5-4.

"Both teams played hard," said Niagara Falls manager Bryant Thomas.
