Olivera Stars for Pipe Fitters in 6-5 Win
Niagara Falls beat Frisco at Outlander Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to right fielder Jose Olivera. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jason Griffith, credited with the save, is now 6 for 8 in save opportunities. The first-place Pipe Fitters bumped their record to 46-25.

Had Olivera not come through in the top of the ninth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Olivera hit a run-scoring single. The Pipe Fitters took the lead, 6-5, and never looked back.

"We think we're a good team overall, so we're not too surprised to win today," said Olivera.
