Smith Propels Frisco Offense in 10-3 Rout
Getting a good performance from left fielder David Smith, the Frisco Rams defeated the Rock River Rats, 10-3. Smith went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Rams. The win hiked the Frisco record to 43-31.

Chris Hogg had a big 2-run home run for the Rams in the bottom of the second inning. With Frisco leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a knuckle curve from Joe Gentile and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 15th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 4-1.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Rock River skipper Shunso Sato.
