The Frisco Rams stopped the Sandy Springs Spartans, 9-4, behind an impressive performance from Eddie Thacker. The 22-year old left fielder made life miserable for Sandy Springs pitching. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win for the Rams lifted their record to 38-38.

Nestor de la Cruz helped out the Frisco cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said de la Cruz.
