The Wauwatosa Indians got a rain-soaked win over the Evanston Bishops.

The Wauwatosa Indians got a good effort from starter Josh Mullins in defeating the Evanston Bishops at Albert Park. The final score was 9-2. With the win, Wauwatosa goes to 45-25, while the Bishops fall to 47-22.

The Bishops had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Indians going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old second baseman David Thompson came to the plate. Thompson hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch fastball from Evanston hurler Rick Upton. It was Thompson's 2nd home run of the year.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Mullins said.
