Rams Win by Slim Margin, 7-6
Fans watched the Frisco Rams and the Boston Whitecaps fight to the finish.

The Frisco Rams managed to get by the Boston Whitecaps, 7-6, at The Studio. Frisco second baseman Nestor de la Cruz set himself apart with his performance. The win belonged to Pavlov Vaindrakh in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Scott Roberts took the loss for Boston.

de la Cruz had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch changeup from Scott Roberts, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Rams a 7-6 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for de la Cruz.

Frisco manager Joe Renken was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.

Frisco has now won 3 in a row.
