Rams Need Extra Frames to Get Past Steelheads
In a low-scoring affair between the Frisco Rams and the Roaring River Steelheads, pitcher Aaron Gianos was the difference between victory and defeat. The Frisco right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Rams win. The third-place Rams now have a record of 64-49.

Though he did not get the decision, Gianos did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Frisco eventually rallied past the Steelheads.

"There is no easy way to lose when you're doing everything you can to win games," said Roaring River manager Mike Bouffard.
