Murraysville Peacocks starter Ken Evans found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Frisco Rams. The winner was Murraysville reliever Li-zhi Chung, now 4-2. The loser was Brendan Loos. Jared Haney, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 17th save.

Li-ben Liao dealt the Rams a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Murraysville leading 1-0, Liao, who is tied for 7th in the RAA in stolen bases with 15, hit a 1-0 splitter for a run-scoring single.

"I really like what we did out there today," Liao said after the game.

The last-place Peacocks are 46-76.
