The Frisco Rams beat the Roaring River Steelheads, 6-5, at Outlander Park. Chris Hogg went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The 21-year old right fielder was a menace to Roaring River all day. Joel Cruz snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2.1 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The 4th-place Steelheads now sit at 60-71.

Had Ivan Vidal not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Vidal hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Rams.

"We're all smiles after that win," Vidal told the Frisco Today.
