In a low-scoring contest between the Louisiana Crocodiles and the Silicon Valley Hackers, 27-year old right-handed pitcher Elijah Johnson proved to be the difference. The Louisiana right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Crocodiles win. Jerry Hartley closed it out for his 9th save. The second-place Crocodiles hiked their record to 65-52.

The Crocodiles got a big at-bat from left fielder Jaime Kolster. For the game, Kolster went 1 for 2 with a double. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Louisiana a 1-0 lead.

"Makes our job easier," said Kolster, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
